Amherst, MA (Feb 25, 2014) – OrthoLite, the leading provider of comfort insoles, announced today its newest brand partnership with Airia, a Swedish shoe company. The new Airia One running and marathon shoe, co-branded with OrthoLite X40 insoles, will be available in April 2014. To celebrate this new partnership, OrthoLite and Airia are teaming up to give away two free pairs of shoes through a Twitter sweepstakes running from February 25 through March 4.
“The OrthoLite X40 insole was designed with higher rebound properties and foam that boosts the elasticity rating to more than 40 percent. Together, the brands have produced a shoe that is designed to increase comfort and speed.”
“There is a natural collaboration between Airia and OrthoLite, as both brands use advanced technology to help runners at all levels achieve their ultimate performance,” said Pamela Gelsomini, OrthoLite president. “The OrthoLite X40 insole was designed with higher rebound properties and foam that boosts the elasticity rating to more than 40 percent. Together, the brands have produced a shoe that is designed to increase comfort and speed.”
Airia One was developed strictly for running, yet is suitable for competitive athletes and recreational fitness runners. After more than two decades of testing and development, results show that runners wearing Airia shave their running times by one to two percent, regardless of ability or running style. Airia One unleashes the natural power of the human body with a stronger running feel.
“We are thrilled to partner with OrthoLite to offer runners additional comfort while running,” said Airia CEO, Matthias Geisler. “Airia One is light and features biomechanically optimized geometry. In the development of the shoe, our team tested many different insoles and found that the OrthoLite X40 was the insole most runners preferred due to its high rebound properties and increased comfort.”
Beginning February 25 through March 4, Airia and OrthoLite will host a Twitter sweepstakes for a chance to win a pair of the new Airia One shoes with OrthoLite insoles. To enter, participants must tweet at both @AiriaRunning and @OrthoLite explaining why they want to try a pair of Airia One sneakers. Two winners will be randomly selected and OrthoLite will notify winners with a tweet and then a Direct Message requesting shoe sizes and mailing addresses. Sneakers will be shipped to the winners in May 2014 and the sweepstakes are limited to consumers who are age 18 or older.
The Airia One sneaker with OrthoLite X40 insoles has a suggested retail price of $190 U.S. dollars. These shoes are currently available for pre-order at www.airiarunning.com.
