American Trail Running Association and OrthoLite partner on and off the trails

Colorado Springs, CO (January 5, 2015) - The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) announced that OrthoLite has renewed their partnership and will continue to be known as the official insole of ATRA.

OrthoLite has been a major supporter of ATRA for a decade, the most of which has been as an official partner. “We’re excited to continue our partnership as the official insole of ATRA in 2015,” said Pamela Gelsomini, OrthoLite president. “We’re aligned with ATRA’s mission of enhancing the trail running experience for athletes at every level, and together we can provide them with the ultimate in comfort and performance.”

“OrthoLite continues to leave its impressionable footprint on the sport of trail running through its ongoing and very welcome support of ATRA,” observed Adam W. Chase, ATRA President. “The generous and increased funding of our Association goes a long way to helping us operate, given that we are a non-profit organization reliant on outside contributions like OrthoLite’s.”

One of the areas OrthoLite’s support will be most visible in 2015, is in ATRA’s newly designed website, which launches in early 2015. The site will dovetail perfectly with the enhanced social media presence ATRA has enjoyed throughout 2014, expertly managed by ATRA’s Online Marketing Director Richard Bolt.

Bolt will be working closely with OrthoLite to integrate the brand on ATRA’s various social media channels.

ATRA’s many programs include annual membership opportunities, a comprehensive online calendar of trail and mountain running events, a quarterly newsletter – Trail Times, monthly e-blasts with current information about the sport, and an events standards program which debuted in March 2012.

ATRA will again partner with Active at Altitude for the third annual Estes Trail Ascent Trail Running Conference, slated to be held October 7-10, 2015, in Estes Park, CO. Additionally, ATRA is the fund raising arm for the U.S. Mountain Running Team.

ATRA, a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization, is a member of USA Track & FieldRoad Runners Club of AmericaInternational Skyrunning FederationInternational Mountain Bicycling Association, and a founding member of Running USA.
